Pediatric cancer research is extremely underfunded in this country. Only 4% of the National Cancer Institute’s research budget is dedicated to pediatric cancers, which is why donations are critical to making progress possible.
Facts about Pediatric Cancers:
Kids' cancers are the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 15 in the US.
Pediatric cancers are classified as a rare form of cancer.
Because of advances in pediatric cancer research, more than 80% of childhood cancer patients in the US now become long-term survivors.
Cancer doesn’t discriminate. It has affected many of our friends and family members. It’s even more heartbreaking and devastating when kids are impacted by the horrible disease. I hope you will support our mission…to make a difference in the lives of kids with cancer. Let’s Smash Kids Cancer together!
